Yeah, it can be your choice: from a simple list of events, to finding a culture buddy from the members on the site, or even invite some of your friends and help the network grow.

The goal I'm reaching for is for a really decent 'what's on guide' for the city and to help people connect. To share what they believe is culture and to hopefully experience something new.

What? who said that? - a Culture club?
Well I would love, for a culture club, to grow across the city and connect people. From vulnerable groups to people who are just simply bored... there's hopefully going to be more than that to it, but I do want to keep it simple. Like i say, it could just be a listings site for events happening around Manchester. Not activities though! that would be too much, to list all the classes... But let's get cultured!

Who? -ever wants to come out and play!
My initial target is for more young-ish people to discover more culture about where they live. Then I'd like to encourage those people to show the elderly around the city they used to know. A cultural generation exchange. From there, we could work towards the inclusion of people with disabilities, (with carers if needed) and maybe even the homeless of Manchester....

I don't know how viable that is either, but there must be something we can do.

Where? - Manchester!
You know the place, (or maybe you don't)... Sticking to the city, not Tameside, Trafford, Bolton etc etc... just Manchester. Theatre venues, poetry afternoons, classical music performances, little gigs, big concerts... there's so many events it's a shame for people to miss out on anything that's going on.

When? - ever you want.
The site should have a fairly easy to use format for people to add their own events or use the 'Culture questions' page to get a culture buddy.

I believe people can relax in smaller groups; so, as much as a big gathering would be a great idea to spread the news about this... it's always nice to keep it small and friendly, especially for actually going to the theatre or concerts.

How you can help? - Create an account and get involved, asking those culture questions, arranging little outings for your self, or contacting one of the organisations involved to help people from vulnerable groups connect with culture's social side.
